HMAS Whyalla – Sensory-Friendly Tour

Step aboard HMAS Whyalla and discover the story of South Australia's first locally built warship on a relaxed, sensory-friendly, guided tour.

This tour has been thoughtfully designed for visitors who may benefit from a more accessible and supportive experience, including neurodivergent people such as those who are autistic, have ADHD, sensory processing differences, anxiety, or anyone who prefers a quieter, more predictable environment. Families, carers and support people are warmly welcome.
Explore the ship's decks and compartments while learning about the daily lives of the sailors who served aboard during World War II. Your guide will clearly explain what to expect throughout the tour, allowing plenty of time to pause, take breaks and ask questions at a comfortable pace.
