The award-winning Whyalla Visitor Information Centre, winner of the 2025 South Australian Tourism Award for Visitor Information Services, is your first stop for exploring Whyalla and the Upper Spencer Gulf.
Conveniently located within the Whyalla Maritime Museum visitor complex on Lincoln Highway, our friendly team of accredited local visitor information specialists can help you plan your stay with personalised advice, local maps, brochures and up-to-date information on attractions, accommodation, events and touring routes.
The Visitor Information Centre is the official booking agent for guided tours of the historic HMAS Whyalla, one of Australia's best-preserved land-locked warships, and the Whyalla Steelworks Bus Tour. We also take bookings for a range of local experiences, including Glass Bottom Boat Tours and Giant Australian Cuttlefish snorkel and dive experiences during the seasonal cuttlefish migration.
