The coastline from Coffin Bay to the Western Australian border offers some of the most abundant and adventurous fishing in one of the most stunning parts of Australia.

The raw rugged coastline that has been shaped by the mighty Southern Ocean is some of the most productive waters in Australia. This 800km stretch of coastline consists of rugged cliff lines, isolated surf beaches and protected bays perfect for any fishing adventure.

The waters surrounding Elliston including beaches such as Sheringa and Locks Well are world renowned as one of the most reliable surf fishing locations and famous for their salmon fishing.

Boaties have the opportunity to either enjoy the protected bays at Elliston, Venus Bay, Baird Bay, Streaky Bay or Ceduna and catch whiting, garfish, salmon, tommy ruff, mullet quid and crabs or venture further afield to offshore islands and reefs that will reward any angler.

Visitors and locals alike often drop down to one of the many local jetties to catch their seafood dinner fresh from some of the most pristine waters in the world. From Ceduna west to the head of the Great Australian Bight their are many super surf fishing beaches that reward fishermen with catches of salmon and monster mulloway with Fowlers Bay, Scotts Bay, Yalata Beach amongst some of the best.
